New Millennium Writings

Winners of the New Millennium Writings Year 2000 competition

To be published in the Special Spring & Summer 2000 Issue 


Barbara Crooker of Fogelsville, PA and Sue Repko of Pennington, NJ have been named co-winners of the Y2K Writing Prize, for the best story, essay or poem about the new millennium. They will split the $1,000 First Prize and their winning entries will appear in the Special Spring & Summer 2000 issue, due out in mid-May.

Crooker won for her poem "Nocturne in Blue." Repko won for her story, "The Last Sorrow of Cain." The winning entries will be available for reading at this website later this month, along with winners of the NMW IX, now being judged.
